The original yard in front of the house was concrete laid in a number of  approx 3 x 4 metre concrete pads. Over the years some pads had become cracked and a few were breaking up badly. So one day I decided to dig up the worst of the pads and reconcrete it. Ion the back of my mind was the idea that I could perhaps do say a couple a year until the whole yard was done. The experience with just one pad convinced me that this was a BAD  idea!
