Windows


Just checking the opening is big enough!	Previously a normal window, opening enlarged to take French windows.	New window openings in kitchen.

Kitchen window fitted and brickwork made good.	Les at work with the chainsaw removing the old windows!	Finished product - removing the paint from the window cills was a job for another day, as was changing the front door.

Originally the house had a mix of metal and glass window frames and a mix of glazing styles. We opted to replace these with oak framed double glazed units. The windows were supplied by a small company in Wales and fitted by a local builder over a period of a few days. At the same time as fitting the windows the builders created the new window openings for the kitchen and French windows.
