Windows

Just checking the opening is big enough!

Les at work with the chainsaw removing the old windows!

Finished product - removing the paint from the window cills was a job for another day, as was changing the front door.

Originally the house had a mix of metal and glass window frames and a mix of glazing styles. We opted to replace these with oak framed double glazed units. The windows were supplied by a small company in Wales and fitted by a local builder over a period of a few days. At the same time as fitting the windows the builders created the new window openings for the kitchen and French windows.
